Buckles Faux Leather Boots: Forever21

Black Leather Tote Bag: LastCall

Necklace: Sold Out

I think it’s safe to say, I love every monochrome! Most all my outfits include black and white, which I don’t mind at all. But anyway, the blouse I am wearing is this adorable cropped blouse with bat sleeves. I actually have another post featuring this shirt because I love it so much. But this time I paired it with this little black skort! Skorts are something I did not like for a very long time because I guess I didn’t really know how to wear them but lately I’ve been giving them a chance and I think they are actually really cute. (If you pair them correctly).

The boots I am wearing are from Forever 21 and normally I am a fan of their boots because I’ve never had a problem with them before. But I am a little disappointed with these. They are incredibly comfortable and are super grungy and cute but whenever I walk they make this sound like leather rubbing together. (It’s hard to describe the sound). It is really annoying when I’m walking in a quiet area so I am hoping that I just have to break them in and they will stop making this sound but who knows.

Regardless, I really love this outfit (:

This weekend I took a trip to NYC and I havent been since I was abou 13 so I didn’t know what to expect, I heard its one of the best places to persue fashion and there’s always something going on and you’ll fall in love with the city and never want to come home… and boy, were they right. The moment I walked out of the subway onto the streets of manhattan I was sold. From the beautiful architecure to the beautiful people who roam the streets is just breath taking. I now know New York is where I want to end up!

But lets talk about my outfit, I wore this on the day I was exporing the streets and had plans to go out to eat. I know wearing heels in New York is a bit unpracticle and they’re right because my feet were killing me at the end (But hey, it’s for fashion right?) The blouse I am wearing is this very sheer material so I was never too hot and I love the way it flows at the end. The skirt I am wearing is my favorite. It is this beautiful suade fringe skirt that is so incredibly comfortable. It stretches a bit so it isn’t too tight.

(I’m making another blog post that goes a bit more in depth about my trip there so hopefully you’ll enjoy that too!) (:

Bralette: Forever 21

Necklace: Forever21 (In gold)

Shoes: Chloes

Todays look is a Brandy Melvile inspired style. I adore there jada dresses because for one, they are so cute and secondly they are so comfy! Plus you are able to dress this dress up or down. Add a statement necklace, nice shoes and you can go out at night or you could just wear it during the day like I did.

The shoes I am wearing are from Forever 21 but I could not find them online but these sandles are probably my favorite. The design is so bohimean and not your normal gladiator sandles.

High waisted Jeans: Forever21

Bag: Forever 21 (Sold out)

Rings: Rue21

This is the outfit I wore to work today! I’m a visual merchandiser for Forever 21. (That why 99% of my clothes are from there) The top has a sort of bat style to it when you lift your arms, which I love. Plus is monochrome which is my favorite! Now, surprisingly, I am wearing jeans which I normally never do. But these are so comfortable it feels like I am wearing leggings. They are a dark blue but unfortunately my low quality camera make them look black in some photos. I promise you they are very much blue in real life! The boots have a slight point at the end which makes the outfit a bit more professional and the purse is the perfect size for those who don’t carry much like me.
